Man escapes gallows, gets 30yrs jail for murdering wife
At the Court of Appeal this morning. Man escapes gallows, gets 30 years ‘ jail for murdering wife, managed to get our client’s sentence reduced from death penalty to 30 years imprisonment from the date of arrest. Our client’s appeal on conviction was dismissed, but the appeal on sentence was allowed and varied. Our client was charged with the murder of his wife under section 302 of the Penal Code.
